The Blurb
Lucy Tilley dreams of a career in show business. But this isn’t quite what she had in mind…
This year’s Cinderella pantomime is the hottest production in town. What’s more, Lucy is starring alongside Ryan Aspall: famous TV actor, sex symbol and potential love of her entire life. One teeny problem – Lucy is tripping the light fantastic as… the back end of the comedy cow. Surely nothing kills a flirty moment quite like wearing a massive set of udders?
At least she has the support of glamorous (if potentially flammable) Charmaine; a reality star diva of a Cinderella, who Lucy is completely fascinated by. But behind the fame and beauty, Charmaine is not all she seems.
With more drama off the stage than on it, and everyone wanting to be star of the show, will Lucy find the confidence to make it out of the cow suit and into the spotlight this Christmas?

The Review
Thank you to Kerry from Novelicious for sending me a copy to read and review.
I stopped reading my current book for ‘A Cinderella Christmas’ because I wanted something Christmasy and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! It’s Panto galore!
This years Panto is ‘Cinderella’, complete with Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother and of course, the Ugly Sisters. We all know the story and I’m sure we all enjoy it, but what actually happens backstage of the theatre? Is it all happy like the characters onstage or is there a variety of sadness?
We follow the lives of the Panto cast, including shy Lucy, celebrities Charmaine and Ryan and one half of the comedy cow, Ben.
I love Pantomimes and every Christmas I attend one at my local theatre. Each time I get all giddy and festive, don’t we all? It’s not a Christmas without a Panto.
I always wonder what it would be like backstage because everyone seems really jolly and happy and I just think they’d be all grumpy behind closed doors. What do you think?
Charmaine is Cinderella and behind closed doors is horrible and quite frankly, I hope (in my imagination and in book land) karma comes and bites her on the bum. Just because she is famous doesn’t mean she should treat people the way she does! *shakes fist*.
Lucy on the other hand is adorable and everyone loves her. Unfortunately, she is the bottom half of a comedy cow, not very showbiz! Sometimes I do wish she wasn’t so shy and “plain-jane” because it does get annoying. She did come out of her shell and is now living her dream, but it took a whole for it to come out. Don’t get me wrong though, I loved ‘Cinderella Christmas’ so it’s more of a personal preference!
If you’re looking for a quick and festive read, then this is the for you!
