Hello everyone, how are we all this Tuesday? Recently, I decided that I needed a holiday and after searching for the perfect destination I found The Chatsfield Hotel. I booked a few nights away and left the boyfriend and dog at home. I’m not sure who was more excited them or me!
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how luxurious the hotel was and I loved the soft sheets and comfortable robes. I mean who doesn’t like lounging around in their dressing gown and slippers sipping a nice beverage?
The best part of my stay was being able to have a few cheeky drinks and not have to worry about the real world. The bar was beautiful (it had a piano) and stocked a large variety of spirits. I even had a few cocktail recipes given to me by expert mixologists. I have to admit I did drink more than was probably necessary, but hey, I was having a break! My favourite cocktail was either the Long Island Iced Tea or the Dark ‘n’ Stormy, both with Dark Rum, of course.
It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves and I even got to talk to a few about their stay and also about their lives.
