Well, I haven’t done one of these posts for a while, have I? Oops! It’s been a little hectic in the Henry/Holland household, but now that it’s all calmed down I’m back on track and in need of a lot of things, i.e books!
Christmas is the perfect time to start writing a wishlist and to let all the Elves know what things you want Santa to bring. Naturally I’m going to ask for a few books and a new hairdryer, but there’s always need for other things, too. I always try to make my ‘I want Wednesday’ posts book related, but today, I don’t think it will be.
Alice in Wonderland blue floral Teacup Necklace
I WANT THIS SO BAD! I know I’ve used capital letters, but oh my, how pretty it is? The Teacup necklace is so cute. It’s from Etsy seller Love Trinkets and she has lots of other cute little pieces of jewellery, too. I think it would be nice to showcase just how much I love Tea!
Christmas Pudding Teapot – Matalan
I doubt you’d be surprised to know that I currently own two teapots, but hey, you can never have too many, right? Since moving out of my parents’ home in March I actually have nothing Christmas related as it belonged to them, so I thought what a perfect excuse to buy this Christmas Pudding teapot! Plus, at £12 it’s a bargain!
It obviously wouldn’t be a post without some books that I wanted. You may have already read some of these and if you have, let me know your thoughts!
Former PSHCE teacher and acclaimed YA author James Dawson gives an uncensored look at what it’s like to grow up as LGBT.
I’ve wanted to read this for a while now because I’ve heard so many great things. It must be hard growing up as LGBT and I think any novel that can show that it’s fine and no one will judge is inspiring. We live in 2014, why people still have problems is beyond me! I couldn’t care less who you love, as long as your happy doing so.
The Bookshop Book is a love letter to bookshops all around the world.
Well, why wouldn’t I want to read this? I love books and, of course, bookshops so it’s only natural I give this one a go. It’s all about what happens in a bookshop and you find out things that you probably never dreamed of. Plus, it has locations from all over the world. I don’t know why but, I always picture bookshops that I’ve never been to, to be like the one in You’ve Got Mail – now that’s a cute bookshop!
Under the alias GirlOnline, Penny blogs about school dramas, boys and her mad, whirlwind family.
I know everyone is going to read this due to Zoella’s fame, but I think we’re all going to be surprised at just how good it is. I have followed Zoella’s journey for a while now and I’m curious to read what her book is all about. It’s classed as being fiction and there are characters that aren’t Youtuber related, but from reading the blurb I think it might be loosely based on her life – we’ll see!
So there you have it! I don’t want to many things, do I? Like I said Santa will be coming soon and I’m sure he’ll bring nice presents for me to enjoy.
What things are you wanting this Wednesday? (Or any day for that matter!)
