Goodbye April, you were a good month! I read a variety of fantastic books this month and I would recommend you read a few of them yourself. I wanted to read six books within April and I did myself proud (hehe) and read a total of seven. I know that’s only one extra, but still it’s one more than I expected. You can see what I read below and also indulge in the reviews by clicking the link.
Dark Star by Oliver Langmead
Pretty Thing by Jennifer Nadel
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Under my skin by James Dawson
The Two of Us by Andy Jones
The Fair Fight by Anna Freeman (Review due to be posted 4th May)
The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins (Review due to be posted 6th May)
I know I shouldn’t pick one, but The Two of Us by Andy Jones was my favourite this month and I absolutely loved it. I cried and cried and it was simply beautiful. I seriously recommend you reading it, it’ll make you smile with joy and cry with sadness – a perfect combination.
I’m still participating in the 2015 reading challenge – the idea behind the challenge is that you read a book and tick it off the challenge list if it matches a certain criteria. This month I ticked off the following:
- A book that made you cry
What did you read this April? anything exciting? Let me know!
