Hoorah – a novel I can shout about from the rooftops. Disclaimer has certainly been floating around Twitter and due to its hype, lots of you have expressed your delight – it definitely doesn’t disappoint.
How would you feel if the book you were reading was all about you? Well, that’s how filmmaker Catherine feels. A book mysteriously lands into her possession and it scares her. How did it get there? How do they know her secrets? The book entitled The Perfect Stranger describes an event involving Catherine’s son Nicholas and how one man saved his life.
Disclaimer is a novel that you simply can’t put down. I found myself reading late into the night because I wanted to know what happened next. On some occasions I felt a little scared and perhaps there was an element of creepiness too. These two things are definitely not bad, they add some extra levels of excitement. The author Renee does an amazing job at drawing you in and keeping you hooked – one male character is oddly creepy and makes you want lots, lots more!
