The Liebster Award

The Liebster Award

Yay, I received The Liebster Award! I was nominated by Cherelle from Reading in peace – who you should all go visit and shower with love 🙂

The idea behind the award is to give new and upcoming bloggers the opportunity to build their community and get to know one another. It’s the perfect way to meet new people and let them find out some interesting facts about you.

Here’s some rules:
1. Answer the questions that the tagger set for you plus create questions for the people you’ve tagged to answer;
2. Nominate some other bloggers!
3. Let them know!

Underneath the ‘Continue Reading’ link you will find my answers to the questions Cherelle asked, the people I have nominated and the exciting questions I have thought to ask.

A fancy package arrived on my doorstep this morning and of course, I was very excited. What’s inside I hear you say? Well, just take a look below!

box-tea

It’s some Tea! I ordered some amazing sample packs of Popcorn, Chocolate Flakes and Matcha from the guys and girls over at Teapigs. They even sent me an Earl Grey sample, which I’m currently enjoying as I sit and type this post!

For those of you that don’t know, Teapigs is a great and ethical Tea company that believe in providing high quality products that not only taste amazing, but make you feel good, too. Oh and did I mention that they love drinking tea?

You can find out more at www.teapigs.co.uk or follow them on Twitter at @teapigs. Go on, show them some love.

Popcorn/Chocolate Tea

Just look how cute the little boxes of Tea are? I’m definitely going to keep them and find a place to show them off.

What’s your favourite flavour of Tea?

The book blogger community

I’m very excited to announce that my first book review will be posted tomorrow at 7pm, GMT. I bet you can’t wait? 🙂

I would just like to say a very big thank you to each and everyone of you that has welcomed me into the book blogging community. When I first thought about starting a blog I never considered that I would make so many good friends in such a short period of time and for that I’m very grateful.

I would especially like to thank Emma from Emma Is Writing for all she has done for me. It’s thanks to her that many of you (equally amazing) fellow bloggers have spoke to me on Twitter and generally opened your arms and welcomed me into the community. It’s hard to express how overwhelmed I am feeling right now.

Thank you to each and everyone of you and here’s to the future!

Welcome to a Book & Tea

Hello everyone and welcome to ‘a book and tea’ a book blog written by a female from the UK.

As you can tell, I like doing two things – drinking tea and reading books. So, what better way to combine the two and share my thoughts with all you lovely lot.

This blog was created to share the books I’m reading, some reviews I’ve written and to make some new friends who share the same interests.

Why not join me in a quick celebratory cheer – Hoorah!
