The Blurb
After their visas in Florida expire John and Liz decide to consider the Bahamas as a potential place for investing their retirement fund. When they meet the irrepressible Sybille, who runs a block of apartments, the long standing husband and wife team decide to put their trust in this stranger in order to grasp the opportunity of a lifetime. With some wonderful new friends and a lifestyle only dreamed of, Liz still worries that this win-win situation may be too good to be true.
This is a thoroughly entertaining tale.

The Review
Thank you to Malcolm and Austin Macauley for sending a copy to read and review.

Liz and John move to The Bahamas where John has a strong interest in becoming a property developer. Liz, John’s wife, joins him for the ride and although she isn’t too happy with joining him on the “adventure” she loosens up and starts to enjoy the Bahamas life. Sybille joins the pair to embark in a property development project and from the beginning seems to always care about the money – which is a danger sign.

Right from the start, I hated Sybille, she is a nasty piece of work and definitely needs a kick up the bum. I know she suffered from a troubled past, but that didn’t warrant her behaviour. More people would respect her business knowledge and expertise if she treated them fairly. Malcolm does a fantastic job in making you dislike her, which for any author is difficult to do.

Looks like a great summer read, must check it out. Nothing quite like a book and tea, is there? How could I *not* check out a blog with that name!
